The Free Roam Missions
I thought they got repetive after awhile. Couple guys hold up a bank/restaurant-shootout-side mission over. I think they needed more variety. MAybe an undercover mission or two?

shareI did not get why they even bothered with the Open World. I mean why put all this effort into making this big beautiful world. And not use it to its full potential. And no, im not talking about GTA violence. It just seems like a waste.
shareagreed, they created a world with nothing to do in the world. why bother?
la noir to me feels like a game incomplete, it has potential for dlc i suppose.
It was probably not worth the effort to make the huge map, but it wasn't your effort that they wasted. It certainly adds to the game, so be glad for it.
black and white movies were better
"It certainly adds to the game, so be glad for it."
In other words, shut up and play the game?
Sorry, I spent 60 bucks on this, I think we have a right to be unhappy if a certain aspect of the game feels unfinished, no matter how good the rest of the game was
How was the game 'unfinished'?
Point out to me where it was said the game will feature many and varied side missions?
The game delivered what it promised. A derective game where the player finds clues and questions suspects all set against a 1940's version of LA.
Jesus died for our sins. As he's already dead...sin away.
Free world roam is just the one sided Street Cases that there are about 40, that you can do during regular gameplay, but will get sidetracked if you decided to do them all. They are all either foot chases, shoot outs, or car chases. Nothing more nothing less.
shareFair enough.
black and white movies were better
To be honest, I'm enjoy the side games - the only problem I have is the location of the incidents. If I'm investigating a case that's all the way up North, then I have to drive for what feels like an eternity down to the South.

Deftones makes the world a better place
Ha, I was going to post the exact same thing. Poor Roy was having a fit when I was impatiently blazing through the city at full speed with his whip going through cars instead of around them
Otherwise, I'm really liking this game a lot so far.
Edit: Ok, I figured out a solution for this inconvenience (can't believe I didn't try this earlier). After responding to the call, get out of the car then hold triangle to make your partner drive which instantly cuts to the area of crime scene.
I think this game is great, but yeah, it would be nice to have some more things to do around the city, aside from discovering locations, hidden cars, and street crimes.
shareI never looked at the map so it seemed like 10 minutes I'm still driving like a mad man (Yes, I know it doesn't matter but keep in character) and I haven't reached it so I agree the crimes should have been in the same district.
