i dont know if this was a goof in the game but vinyl lp's in the late 40's??
i always thought lp's came out in the early 50's

LPs yes, but Phonograph records were around much earlier.

i know im a year late in responding but the record i was looking at the time looked like a late 50's- early 60's columbia records lable.

LP and Phonograph records look very very similar. The only difference is that Phonograph records are much thicker. if you look straight down on them, you won't be able to tell the difference.
