'Look, it's that cop from the papers!'
Good god, do people have to act like they're such in awe every time you walk by them? yes, you solved some cases. move along now, people.
I used to be indecisive. Now, I'm not so sure.

what i didn't understand was the "there is a thing called soap" comments you get sometimes.
shareThe npc dialogue is pretty atrocious.
shareMy favourite/worst was "Why is abbreviate such a long word?" lol
What is up homie?
"I'm thinking of moving up to a .45. I want to bring 'em down with one round."
I swear I heard some guy in the police station said this line in the background three times in a row. Then when I was leaving the station, a different guy, different voice, said the exact same line. This kind of stuff really takes you out of the game and shows how lazy some of this dialogue is. Most of the incidental NPC chatter is just recited from a book of puns and one-liners, said completely out of context.
The one something along the lines of , " When I got married, instead of a judge, I should've asked for a jury ".
shareI found it weird that random passerby would just insult you for no reason

After your fall from grace, I overheard someone say: "I hope his wife takes him to the cleaners."

The funny thing is that such NPC comments are supposed to be "immersive," but has the exact opposite effect.
shareI love such NPC comments, I go looking for them, they make me laugh. I still come across them in other games (Mafia II, GTA IV, etc) and it always makes me smile.
