In The Black Dahlia, a film set in 1947, Patrick Fischler plays the Assistant DA.
Oddly there is a character in that film called Mickey Cohen, which is the name of Fischler's character in LA Noire.

That's not too odd, considering that Mickey Cohen was a real guy (he's also mentioned and shown in L.A. Confidential).
