Agreed. The movie had a nice visual tone though, but casting director seemed to be too influenced by the writer/director for some reason. A better producer would have redrafted the story's overall narrative structure and removed some of the cast members. For all of the build up it didn't deliver much at the end. If you're going for the "this is not a happy ending type of movie" feel that's fine but this film falls short of that.
