Who else predicted Jackie would kill someone close range?

Title is Killing Them Softly, he mentions he likes to kill them softly from a distance.. yep he is so gonna break his rule.

I was right!

He did say from a distance but I thought it meant more as an unexpected hit as in catch them off guard. I thought it was obvious that Frankie was going to get hit prior to he and Jackie parting even though Frankie seemed unaware.

"He killed sixteen Czechoslovakians. Guy was an interior decorator."

Yeah, he meant catching them off guard so there's no drama. He obviously doesn't want to deal with the person begging and pleading, so it's best to do it when they don't know it's coming.

Nuthin' better than a kind-hearted...HIT MAN! :P

from a distance..

Emotionally distant.

The softness came by him doing it unexpectedly.🐭

THANX for splaining the TITLE's meaning so well.

The name comes from that Fugees song. It was popular to name movies after lines from songs, simply because they were phrases that sounded cool.

"Killing Me Softly" was ORIGINALLY by Roberta Flack in the 1970s. "It's safe to say that Roberta Flack's version of 'Killing Me Softly With His Song' is the definitive version. The soul singer said the song "smacked me in the face" when she first heard it on an airplane, when the Lori Lieberman original was played as part of the in-flight audio program."
