The Parents?

I don't know how I was duped into watching this but I have thoughts about the parents. I absolutely despised them. First the mother seemed like she was trying too hard in being buddy buddy with her daughters instead of an actual mother. She gave terrible advice and felt like she was pressuring her daughter into losing her vg-card. Also why would she lie to her husband about when losing her own virginity? Seriously who does that to someone 18+ years later.

Then the father came across as rude or like he was putting on a tough guy act. When we first see him at the graduation ceremony, why does he act rude to Cameron for no reason (repeatedly asking who he was). Then he does it again when Cameron was at their house wanting to come in. I'm not sure if he was trying to be funny or playful but he came across like a jerk.

I'm glad he got his come uppings in the end when he visually sees both his daughters getting rammed (first Brandy in the van then walking in on Wendy with the pool manager).

But the dumbest scene of all, is when Brandy wasn't home (on her date with the stud muffin lifeguard) and Cameron came to the house. They told him she wasn't home but why did they allow him in their home and in Brandy's bedroom? This is where he found Brandy's sex checklist book.

What parents would allow a guy to enter their daughter’s room and stay there when their daughter isn't there? Did the parents think she was gonna be home soon? I don't understand this logic.

Sorry for the rant. I know I'm not alone in thinking the parents were awful.
