Why is Bay so pale?

I mean both Regina and Angelo have dark skin so... How come Bay came out white?

Because genetics are funny that way. There are stories of biracial parents having blonde haired blue eyed children. Maybe Bay has a grandparent who had paler skin.

Because Vanessa Marano isn't Mexican, she is half Italian.

Bay kinda has to have paler skin for the mom/family who raised her not notice their actual daughter had been switched at birth. If Bay had more of an olive skin one then there would have been suspicions certainly.
