Why everyone acts like Daphne is this sweet, innocent, little angel. And Bay is a trouble maker? I'm almost done with season 3 and so far I've seen Daphne do so much more bad stuff than Bay. She screwed her boss, blackmailed another boss. Did cocaine. Has been a total bitch to the woman who raised her on several occasions. When Bay helped her stage the protest at Carlton, she repayed her by voting to have her and all the other hearing kids kicked out. She also lied to the Kennish's to get them to give her money, so that Emmett wouldn't have to sell his motorcycle. So, can someone please explain to me how she's the "good" one?

I can't explain how Daphne is the good one, because I agree with you 100%.
After you watch the Season 3 Finale, please return and tell us if you're feelings about Daphne have changed.
I'll have a question for you, once you have seen the Season 3 Finale!
Here's my question:
Everywhere I go online, I see fans talking about the wonderfulness of Bay and Daphne's sisterhood now. I don't get it. How can Bay and Daphne be wonderful together, after what happened in the Season 3 Finale? How can anyone think that they share a beautiful sisterhood, when things are so violently unbalanced between them?

I just started season 4. I can't believe Bay took the fall for Daphne. I was so glad to see Toby and then Emmett call her out. Everyone else is treating her with kid gloves. Her father (who she didn't even want anything to do with) dying is not an excuse for her to behave the way she has. She acted like she was the only one who lost someone. Regina new him and loved him for years. Bay was the one who wanted to meet him and get to know him. Even the Kennish's treated him better than Daphne did. Bay and Daphne do have some nice sisterly moments, but their mostly one sided. Daphne only seems to care about being sisters when it benefits her in some way.

I know. It's awful.
There's this moment when the detective returns, and Daphne could have done the right thing. She could have told the truth. But instead, Daphne throws Bay right under that bus, and she tells the detective that Bay is right and begins spinning an elaborate fabrication of how she was there to stop Bay that night. If Daphne had kept her mouth shut, it looked like Bay was preparing to back down from her lie and tell the detective the truth.
I cannot believe that Daphne could do something as selfish as that. What if Bay had gotten three years in prison, without the possibility of parole? That lawyer had said the judge wanted to throw the book at Daphne, because she was a state senator's daughter. What if he had thrown the book at Bay?
Could Daphne have lived with that? She would have had to, at that point. Because the penalty for lying under oath is 5 years in prison, and that's what Bay would have gotten, if her lie had been exposed. Thank goodness that didn't happen.
Daphne has been good to Bay, ever since Bay took the fall for her. But to me, everything between them now is tainted. It's as if Bay bought and paid for their friendship, instead of it being sincere.
If Bay had to buy Daphne's friendship, then is Daphne a friend at all?
I don't think she is. And it disappoints me, because I had really looked forward to the two girls growing closer, and now that they are, things are so unbalanced and dishonest between them, that I cannot find any pleasure in watching them together.
It's one of the biggest failures of the TV series.

Yeah, I was hoping they would have a real friendship too. It also irked me that John so readily loved the idea of Bay covering for Daphne. Bay is the daughter that he raised, that he loved for years, not knowing that she wasn't really his, and he's excited that she's putting her own future in jeopardy for something she had no part of?
And now I just watched her try to make out with Travis when she knows he has a girlfriend. Then when Bay calls her out on her *beep* behavior she tells her it's none of her business and shoves her.

Yep. I remember that like it was yesterday.
I still cannot believe that the writers went to these places with these characters. I am big on forgiveness. Characters (and people) can make amends and redeem themselves, but it takes time and effort.
The showrunner glosses over everything. She puts big pretty bows on all of the problems. She did take the time to allow Emmett to redeem himself, after his mistake in Season 1. But then, she ruined so many of the main characters in Seasons 3 and 4, and now, she has no time left to redeem any of them.
It's as if Lizzy Weiss allowed a forest fire to blaze through her story, annihilating everything and everyone in it. But there is no time left for new growth. All that is left is total destruction.
And every time she gets busted doing something wrong, it's always someone else's fault. She vandalized and destroyed hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of property, but it's Regina's fault for pissing her off. It's also that guy Nacho's fault, because it was his idea.
