Thank God. I was afraid people would be dumb enough to actually think this is racist. A fake grill and a hat with dreads on is not even close to being offensive. Why does this show try and make these huge dramatic stories that aren't actually what they portray. The split view of if Bay was raped or not. (I don't think she was) and if some stupid kid trying to be funny at a costume party is a closet racist (No)

Yeah I was expecting there to be a black face element or some other element that stereotyped an entire ethnicity... Like if he went as a generic "Rasta" stereotype or 'Minstrel'... but this was a major fail and flat-out didn't make any sense! Much like their rape/consent storyline.

It's clear why this series is ending or has already ended because the writers are severely bad at their job.

Any point they MAY have had, flew out the window with the poor handling of the issue itself. As someone above said, it actually trivializes the actual issue even more, which I think is far more insulting.

I just watched it and I thought the same thing... like wtf? So, a white guy, can't dress up as a black guy in costume, but... it's okay for a black girl to dress up as a white girl in costume? Is this what the world is coming to? I could see it if he had, as you said.. black face. This is just ridiculous! And, Mingo and Daphne will be hated in the next episode for it... lol the heck.
