I would've liked to see more episodes of the girls in China

I think the first 10 minutes were great for the premiere, especially what happened to Bay was OMG

Too bad we couldn't get an extra episode or two with their year in China

What for?

Focusing on 2 "sisters" and Travis = yawn.

Ain't that the truth?

I usually like watching sibling relationships. I loved the TV show Sisters. Practical Magic is one of my favorite movies, because Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman's sibling relationship feels honest and sincere.

Switched at Birth doesn't have that. Daphne and Bay's feelings for each other don't feel real. They hated each other, and then, all of a sudden, Bay risks her whole future and gives up everything to save Daphne, and now, they are best friends. Why?

And Travis is dull to watch. He has no charisma. He is angry, short-sighted, gullible, and comes across as a dud. Does he have anything going on in his life other than baseball?

I like the setting in China, but I would rather watch Bay there alone, interacting with new characters. How did Daphne and Travis even read lips while they were there?

Daphne is suppose to be the only deaf person on earth who can lipread a doctor talking in another room through glass, when Angelo died.

Therefore she can, according to the writers, lipread foreign person.

She also was able to lip-read the guy in the wheelchair (I don't remember his name). I'm no lip-reader but I did pay very close attention to his mouth when he talked and he only moved half his mouth so it should have been very difficult. Maybe in the last episode we'll find out Daphne's been faking being deaf all these years! 😄

Exactly she magically lipread in impossible situation but the writers made it comically absurd when she can't lipread in normal situations.

Now that's a possibility.

God, no. What they had was enough, and so fakey at that. They needed a way to get them back home, thus Emmett ODs...good enough.
