This show should get some more seasons after this one

The show's been off for more than a year and this is the FIRST season to air under the new Freeform name. Seems wrong to just end it out this quickly. This almost seems like a new show to those who just tuned into Freeform after the name change last year and didn't even know of this show's existence. And TEN measly episodes? What kind of nonsense is that? A show gone for more than a year and only given ten episodes to finish out with? This show mind as well had aired last year in the spring! This season deserved like triple that. Every season the episode count got lower and lower and Freeform truly put the icing on the cake giving this season ten episodes.

I don't even have cable so did Freeform even air a marathon of the show? That so would have been needed given the hiatus. I'm seeing a thread of some one who says they forgot what had even happened regarding Bay. Also, considering they weren't going to air the season until 2017, Freeform should have given the season more episodes to make up for that crap. But this show deserves to have a longer reign on Freeform. It should be able to continue for a couple more years. I'm happy to see it finally back but damn, this was the most dumbest hiatus I've ever seen in my life and this show was quite a hit to be treated like this.

I agree Manna. This show has a few more years left in it. It's not like one of those show where they have a plot that stretches 4-5 years and gets ruined because the station wanted a few extra seasons.

I just tweeted Lizzy Weiss on twitter about contacting the executives of this channel on letting the show go on or see if another network can pick it up. I doubt it'll do much but it should at least put an idea into her head. This show deserves to go on for more than five seasons.

It would be awesome if Netflix or Hulu picked it up too.

What the hell is a Stiles?

reply

I'm hoping Hulu picks it up. Netflix sucks and only gives their shows like ten episodes a year/season. Ridiculous.

reply

Nope.

It has to end. It has lost the plot since season 2 and the storylines are ridiculous and similar to past shows.

reply

Um no, it doesn't need to end. You need to stop watching it. I don't see the show losing anything past Season 2. Seasons 3 and 4 were quite a treat, I just wish they had like five extra episodes each. And no kidding if it has similar storylines. You do realize there's like a billion other shows out there? There's BOUND to be something similar.

With deaf characters.... where?

reply

What does other shows with deaf characters have to do with anything? Look back at what you said and understanding what I'm saying. You're talking about this show having storylines other shows had generally (or did you mean past episodes of this one when you said past shows?). I'm saying this is bound to happen given there's so many other shows out there. Because this show has deaf characters, it has to have storylines that NO other show has done before? That's pretty freaking hard to do and this being the first to have deaf characters means nothing. It can have similar things to other shows. As long as the show takes those similar concepts and manage to make something new out of it with it's own set of characters, that's all that matters. Every show can't be 100% different with topics no other show has touched on like romance, drugs, abuse, racism, etc. so what are you complaining for?
