I just want to say first quickly that the woman I love lives 10 hours away and it sucks. She has her life there and I have my life here. There's mutual attraction feelings for each other, but neither can sacrifice what we've worked so hard to achieve. It just sucks

Now as far as the movie goes, I found myself not liking either of these characters. Did anyone else struggle with this? For the most part, it's a pretty movie. But the couple is trying to push a circle through a square. Some things just aren't meant to be, no matter how much we wish or try to push it through. Maybe that's the point of the movie

Even though Anna and Jacob really did care for one another, but eventually they fell out of love and when they were finally able to be together, it seemed as though they lost the passion for each other.

I think it's kind of profound to think about how people have many loves in their lives. At the time they felt like they were the end all be all. They were in love and they didn't see anything outside of that. This is a story about first love but it isn't about true love.
