It was about the connection. Maybe you've never experienced that before. It's hard to understand if you've never experienced a deep level of connection. The character Sam is much prettier than Anna, just like Simon is hotter than Jacob. I think they did that on purpose. It was never about looks.

shareI agree that this Anna & Jacob's chemistry was not based on looks, but aside from that, Felicity Jones is beautiful in a quiet, unassuming way. She looks so real and honest and believable in this role all in addition to being physically striking. The other actress was good in her role, but no comparison to Jones. None at all. And yeah, Simon is way hotter than Jacob.

shareThis entire thread is so unbelievably shallow and indicates people who seem to have missed the entire point of the movie. NEWSFLASH - love is never based entirely on the physical, the fact that i need to point this out seems laughable. Also for all those arguing about who's is more attractive between Jennifer Lawrence and Felicity Jones, they are both very attractive women, but again, shouldn't even be the point.
