enough to inspire this kind of passionate love. Yelchin is a wonderful actor and a strange-looking, mutant boy with absolutely no sex appeal whatsoever. I could have understood it if they had paired him with a similarly unattractive sort of nebbish, odd-bodied, yet weirdly endearing woman to compliment his strangeness.
Is this the best they can give us to look at? every woman I see is the most beautiful, fresh, young, perfectly formed specimen and we get yelchin, eisenberg, cera, jonah hill, or nasty old hyenas past their prime like clooney, pitt, neeson, the list goes on.....sheesh!

If all you care about is what the actors look like then I don't think there are enough x's in the films you watch.

men in porn are hideous but it's not all I care about. How you discerned THAT from what I wrote is completely unfathomable. I love great actors. I HATE when actors are supposed to be in passionate love with each other when one of them is spectacular looking and the other is a mutant troll with bad dna. Make sure you tell all the people on IMDB who comment on how HOT people are that they should be watching porn instead! It should take you a decade or so

yes, I agree. I shouldn't have used a lame word like "hot" but you are right, there's nothing charming or sexy or masculine or charismatic about him as a male lead. He was great in alpha dog though, but as a vulnerable boy.

maybe thats what helps make it more realistic? They didnt have to "hollywood it up" by casting a ryan gosling looking lead with a ton of charm. thats the thing with romances, both actors usually look like models and are the perfect human beings that no one can REALLY relate to. I think this felt more real with "normal" looking people. just my opinion

totally valid opinion. I just felt a total imbalance. He did not seem to inspire passion in my mind. I didn't mean he should be Ryan gosling....(but it wouldn't hurt!)

Yeah Simon was hot though lol I only watched the movie for his character cad cause I tried watching Hammer of the Gods but found out he was in this

hmm, is OP a guy? because to me as a girl Felicity Jones looks extremely plain and her sagging skin made her look older too, while Yelchin looks beautiful and the other guy she had, Simon is also attractive. Idk, they seemed both light years out of her league. But Eisenberg, Cera and Jonah Hill are all hideous, I agree.

I find him strangely appealing. I think a lot of girls feel the same.

There was a guy I knew who looked quite similar, same style same hair and he had a plethora of ladies. I don't think their relationship was very plausible and the opening scenes kept a smile on my face. Made me remember what a budding new relationship was like.
