How is 3D?
Could you please comment on 3D? Especially before the window effects please.
shareRealise this is an old question but will answer anyway for anyone interested. Just watched in 3d. In a word, the 3D effect is subtle, to the point where a couple of times I was checking if my glasses were working. Not that I mind that, in your face effects or before the window as you say would have ruined the mood somewhat. It doesn't add a lot but certainly doesn't take anything away. Some of the star scenes are prettier because of the 3d.
sharetotally agree. For the first 2-3 minutes, I wasn't even sure there was any 3D whatsoever! Later on it becomes obvious, but the movie never makes any special(gimmicky) use of it . Still a big part of the movie is 3D rendered CGI which means that it's a real 3D, with actual depth information - not some half-baked post-processing effort.
So the 3D is as good as it can be.
Is it subtle? Yes.
But it does add to the whole experience, so I wouldn't watch it any other way (which I wouldn't claim for most other movies)
