Wasn't he originally listed as being the voice of the dog in this movie?

Well, according to the Hollywood reporter, he was only in negotiations.

But both articles just say he was in negotiation, he didn't have the part. I don't know the actor who is voicing the dogs, has a great voice.🐶

Josh Gad hit it big as one of two leads in the original cast of the Broadway play, "Book of Mormon." I saw him in that production and thought he was great.

You know, part of me thinks I shouldn't like this movie. But I think I will and am looking forward to it. I also think its cool that Swede Lasse Hallstrom is the director. His big foreign film hit years ago: "My Life As A Dog."

Yes he did. He played Chris Kyle in American Sniper.
