Animal abuse on the set of A Dog's Purpose

There needs to be accountability here. There need to be punishments. There need to be regulations.

Did you know that studios aren't legally obligated to invite the American Humane Association* to sets, which means that they have to stay on the studios' good side, which often means looking the other way when abuse happens? Yeah I didn't know that until today.

This is why we need legitimate regulations.

“No Animals Were Harmed” is a meaningless phrase.

*Edit: The American Humane SOCIETY is good. The American Humane ASSOCIATION is the one who watches movie sets.

This isn't abuse. This is a dog afraid of water? You abusing your pet when you bathe it?

reply

No but forcing a dog to into water that looks torrential is abuse. Even if the water is safe, the illusion of making it look like rough waters is enough to cause trauma to the dog.

They aren't bathing the dog. Is forcing a dog to act the same as keeping it clean?

The water is rapid water. Do you bathe your dog in rapids?

And to answer your question, yes it looks like the dog is afraid of being thrown into the rapids. The dog does look afraid.

I hope that answers your question.
