Some issues with the movie
-Where is the lecherous fan-atic that would stalk this newfound fame?
She doesn't even have security and walks home by herself. I guess judging by the old cars and aerobics that this was set in the 80's so maybe it was safer then.
-Experience is short lived for Sue due to the older self already past the prime and over the halfway point of her age.
-The Matrix went full retard mode on not wanting her own life back that she more or less self-suicided. She could've had a cozy life with Fred who still looks up to her as if she never aged.
-The whole time spent after reviving Sue where they faced each other off to her death, she only spoke once and never bothered to reason with her other self. This part actually pissed me off out of the whole movie.
-The Substance should come with more finer details and fine print warnings before use. She only started calling for help once the bad things started happening.
-She should get an alibi of sort that helps her handle the care of her other self and the clean-up of her apartment, like that horny Oliver who could exchange it for sex or whatnot. He's a handyman after all so maybe he can cook too and keep her regimen up while she goes showing off her body and fame.
-I wonder why the 'company' doesn't give more food packets for the both of them to extend more than a week? Were the side effects tested for the limit of just a week?
-They don't bother leaving notes or recordings to one another to set boundaries. They're both so insecure that they just despise each other after the first week.
By the end of the show, you end up rooting for both of them to just die off already. Less of these types of narcissists the better for the world.
