Keri doesn't like to get gussied up - she's a tomboy diplomat
Pulls faces every time someone tells her to wipe the spaghetti off her crotch. The rom-com-dram is overly precious to ridiculous (she gets in a rolling in the dirt cat fight with her husband on the lawn before the entire US/British embassy staff).
Its an entertaining series, but the hugely skewed demographics (not a single white alpha mate in the youngish adult range in the cast), invariably feminist takes & tropes, not to mention some real real world whopper scenarios keeps it back in the range of better-than-average Netflix fare, not much more.
Due to her Americans series chops (well-earned), everyone has granted her stratospheric status. Its all a bit much.
You might love it. Younger viewers will probably find less to carp about than I do.
