Analogical?

This word was used twice in the movie by two different characters, neither of whom were in each other's company at the time. The word is "analog". That's the word that means "an approximation of a number", whereas "digital" describes discrete numbers. Therefore, the camera is analog, and the watch is analog.

"Analogical" is an adjective which means "pertaining to analogy", similar to "analogous".

I hate when screenwriters don't do proper research, or actually use English correctly.

I thank you two and a half years after you posted this. I logged in to gripe about the same thing. Lazy writing bugs me as much as it bugs you.
