While the story is nowhere near fresh, judging from the trailer it looks like it packs a punch. Billy Crudup and Clive Owen acting opposite sounds very promising. The story is almost identical to We Own the Night, another James Gray film, however I feel like this one has genuinely true potential.

This movie is a remake of a dull French film made by Guillaume Canet who made overlong and boring Little White Lies and Tell No One. Also, James Gray who is an awful filmmaker whose movies look like remakes of each other (incl. this one) co-wrote this. Runtime is 150 min, reviews from Cannes are divided. I'm sure it will be year's most boring, predictable and lifeless film. But I'll watch it for the cast anyways.
shareIt's a really good flick. I wasn't bored. It's only 127 or 128 minutes. Maybe they cut something out, but you couldn't really tell, if so.
The low budget shows. The dialogue could be a little better.
