A woman in the workplace?
And the guys don't know how she can be both a mom and have a career, wow what a great an original idea fit for this ever changing world, wait this isn't the 1970s never mind.

shareIt's their way of giving credit to women for doing so much like acknowledging that it is hard and sympathizing.
shareYes, it's hard to have a job and a family. Except that men have had a job and a family for over 10,000 years, and women have had to work for...I dunno...50 years? Yea real tough.
I think the next big movie should be about all the work women do, but from the prospective of the man...having to listen to her complain about doing 1/3 the work he does and how tough it is.
Oh that's sexist? How many women scientists are there? How many female sanitation workers? How many female chefs? How many female engineers? How many female carpenters? How many female metal smiths? How many women in construction? How many female gardeners or landscapers? How many female police? How many female doctors?
Do the statistics. Yes taking care of children and a household is difficult, but cmon...really?
The point of this movie is that a woman has to work at home as well as outside the home regardless of whether she has a husband or not and so the question becomes 'how does she do it?' A working man works outside the home with dinner waiting on the table at a clean house so I don't know what you're discussing with yourself over there.
shareThe whole idea for this movie is outdated, woman aren't the only ones who take care of things around the house, have a job and kids.
shareI agree with you ETSylvester!

Are you living in the 50s, ETSylvester?
shareI think you missed his/her point. The point is that just like the woman has chores to do when she comes home from work, so has the man since the dawn of civilization. Men come home and help raise kids, clean, take care of the house, which includes handy work, chores around the yard, etc.
Sometimes you ladies act like you do it all by yourselves and you always deserve a grandeur pat on the back and for your accomplishments to always be thrown in the faces of men everywhere because those guys are all lazy and doing nothing.
So like someone else said, according to the "progressive" nature of society, these ideas should be far outdated. However, what I've found is that the ladies who are screaming this way want anything but equality.
IMHO, Men dont help enough! Women are expected to work full time jobs, just like a man, and do everything a housewife does with very little or no assistance from the man even in 2011.

IMHO, you're pushing a meme. I do more cleaning and cooking than my wife WHO STAYS AT HOME while I work. What do you have to say?
shareyou're the exception to the rule! but i do admire those few men who are int eh same position as a majority of women!!! in an ideal world we'd meet in the middle!
shareYou are clearly the exception and she doesnt do the cleaning or the cooking because she has you to do it.
