Mind-numbingly bad!

As I watched the trailer I thought "wow, SJP has really tried her hardest to make this movie feel exactly like Sex and the City." A moment later she is shown walking down a New York City street with a tall red headed woman ("Miranda")... "And just like that" I completely lost respect for Parker as an artist. Can she make it any more obvious that this is really SATC 3, with Carrie a flat, one-dimensional caricature of the "all-American mom?" With all of the eye candy (the sets and wardrobes are very elaborate and colorful)I think Parker was hoping viewers wouldn't notice the cardboard acting. (Then again, the actors were working with a plastic, Disneyland, saccharin-sweet script.) Above all, the whole thing screams "like me! Like ME! LIKE ME!!!" with a blow horn. Sadly, none of its begging does it any good.
