No, wait, they remade that brilliant Argentine movie? How the hell could they ever hope to transfer that whole horribly creepy 'junta shift' effectively to the US political situation anywhere in time since, I guess, 1776?!
The Secret in Their Eyes is one of those movies that should never be remade, and if it is, only in countries that had the same democracy->dictatorship shift at some point in their history. Countries that have a legitimate claim to depicting very similar historical events. The US is not one of those.
