What a train wreck this movie is.

I saw ot today, for free, and it was not worth the time.

Kidman is terrible. Roberts unlikable. Everyone else is c level at best.

The story is told in flashbacks and a total mess.

Dont waste your time on this as you would be better off putting your hand in a blender.

Dr. Who is to entertainment what Special Olympics is to athleticism.

I didn't like it. Boring snoozefest that has grossed 17 million in two weeks. It will be gone before next weekend so I would say a lot of people share my opinion.

Agreed. I'm a sucker for Nicole Kidman -- I just want to see hair, clothes and makeup. So this is a movie that only a sucker would see.

I thought it was a pretty good movie. I liked the main character, Ray. He was very likeable. Julia Roberts wasn't supposed to be likeable....she was supposed to be aging and bitter. It was a pretty good movie; no way as bad as you make it out to be.

This is the absolute reason I found this movie "unwatchable"

.......you would be better off putting your hand in a blender.

Your hand would probably be easier to reassemble and there would be more of an incentive to do so.

I agree with most of your analysis (especially as it pertains to the flashbacks, which were an unintelligible mess at times), but I actually thought Nicole Kidman (who I'm normally not so fond of) was quite good in her role. The interrogation room scene (which is also great in the originally) was one of the better scenes in the film.
