so, i watched the original argentinian version because argentinians kept bitching about how the original is some kind of masterpiece.
it's not, it s an average movie, with some weird acting.
waste of hours.
The direction is much better in the original but I'd have to agree, it's not a masterpiece.
I don't see anything weird about the acting though. In the remake, the acting is laughable. Between Kidman's freeze number, Ejiofor and Roberts overacting like they're in a 1920ies silent movie and the suspect killer dude who seems to think he's in an episode of Law and Order, it's almost an acting parody fest.
