So how come no big publicity ot oscar buzz for this

I kept hearing if this got made there would be oscar noms for kidman, roberts and chiwetel. Did it not get enough word of mouth

The movie, and especially the loser cast, was obviously conceived, in fact even made only, as an Oscar bait. Unfortunately it sucked and got trashed by the critics so they didn't even wasted more money campaigning for it, or the actors, since the acting was awful.

Sometimes names known to the public and "oscar nominee X and Y" just doesn't make up for a lousy script and a made-for-tv direction.
