This movie is extremely boring and slow moving. I was never intrigued with anything in the story as it felt like everything was just being dragged out intentionally.
AO was a very, very good movie. I'm def. NO Julia R fan but she def. can act esp. when she's playing someone very similar to herself like that character! lol. Regardless, AO still made some semi decent bank (around $37 million) while this new one has been an absolute disaster. Possibly one of her biggest flops ever. Had a top notch A list cast of only 3 people (w/ ALL the emphasis being on her name brand) Plus, it's her first movie in ages where she was the *main/lead star and it may not even make $20 million! Basically since 2001 ish, unless she's part of a mega A list ensemble cast, she hasn't even come close to carrying a movie anywhere NEAR $100 million. Mona Lisa Smile, Mirror Mirror, Duplicity, Charlie Wilsons War, Eat Prey Love where all garbage LOL. They didn't 'flop' (mainly due to the overseas market) but domestically are all forgettable and didn't come close to $100 million which she used to consistently get effortlessly. To think she rejected Blind Side and Proposal all due to pure greed. Rejecting those two movies only pushed her career further the ground while it sent Sandy B into orbit, an Academy award, highest paid actress 2 year w/in the last 5 and A++ list again.
Yes, this movie is not bad at all. It is similar to August: Osage County; yet, but please, do not say that A:OC is really bad boring one. A:OC is a PHENOMINAL movie that needs to be seen again and again.
