Why the fck do you all hate Julia Roberts so much? There was a time during the 1990s when she couldn't do any wrong. Her and Meg Ryan were queens of Hollywood. Now, they're despised. I don't get it.

Julia Roberts is still an "A-list" actress I guess. She does get good roles in "important" movies..
Meg Ryan, can't say the same. She hasn't been cast in a movie for ages now. At least I haven't seen her.

I agree with you. People shouldn't hate for no reason. I mean, yeah, it's possible to hate someone you've never met. I hate Hitler and Stalin and never met those guys. But those guys were so monstrous they deserved little else. But hate Julia Roberts? For what? Sure, Julia Roberts was very pretty as a young woman when she was first discovered in the 1987 indie movie, "Mystic Pizza". She was virtually unrecognizable ten years later in her A lister movie roles. Time marches on and she's not pretty anymore as we can see but would that be a reason to hate her among other things? No.

Re: Julia Roberts- yes she was in high demand in the 90's but if you really watch her performances they are flat and all the same- she has NO range- one dimensional actress. It's not her age nor do I think people hate her because they don't know her it's just she's not a good actress.
