Will This Show Turn Into Another "Lost" ???

I've just started watching the first few episodes, and as much as I'm LOVING it, ever since the 'debacle' of an experience for me with the tv show Lost (2004) (started great, found myself starting to lose interest around the third season, and never even saw the finale, or any of the last few seasons), I now find myself worried, for whatever reason, if this particular show might go down the same path.

As incredibly intriguing as the premise of this show is, and how wonderful the execution has been on the couple episodes I've seen so far, I'm interested to know if this particular ("Lost") fear might possibly have crept into the the minds of any other viewers ??? 

I like Lost, but they really started to throw a lot of weird crap in, and the mysteries were left largely unexplained, so yeah same thing with the mystical crap in this.

Every major mystery was answered.

One can hope.

If I were you, I'd wanna be me too.

No, because it has a small number of specific departures from the reality we experience in real life (aside from the different history).

--Parallel universes exist (which may be true, but we can't go to them and the show's depiction of what they'd be like is speculative).

--Some people have an ability to enter them, usually by mistake at first.

--Even if you have the ability, you can only enter a universe where your counterpart is dead.

--Objects like the films can be taken back and forth, so what happens in one universe can influence others.

It's an internally consistent set of rules and I see no reason they'd keep adding arbitrary weird stuff. They already have a lot to go on with the existing sci-fi stuff and the Axis victory setting.

Both of these elements have a lot of dramatic potential. Intrigue within the Reich and Empire could be almost limitless. Will peace with Japan last? The resistance could become more successful or fail. Might someone decide to live permanently in a different universe(I hope Tagomi does) and how would this affect their own?

There's plenty of interest without deciding that everything is a hologram or they're in hell.

It doesn't seem like you know enough about LOST to even know what LOST became.

Are you asking whether this is a show that you like at first and then lose interest in?

If so, the answer is possibly

If I were you, I'd wanna be me too.

Well seeing that LOST is the best scifi, fantasy show with the best set of characters ever one can only hope.

This is the correct answer.
