I thought it very odd and creepy that Nicole took advantage of Joe while he was tripping. Then didn't seem to care that he was hallucinating that she was the woman he lost and thought was the love of his life.
No self respect? Even the woman he was seeing in NY gave him the boot for wishing she was someone else.

shareI wouldn't be surprised that Nicole still worked for Joe's father, even after her and Joe got together. Also, even after she and friends voiced some dissent for Heusmann's plans. Or the very least, even if she and friends were German quasi-resistance, she would still be stringing Joe along because of who his father was and therefore wouldn't be ruffled much to find that Joe was still pining for Juliana.
