I know that Netflix has released their shows on DVD/Blu-ray, but I've yet to see season 1 of The Man in the High Castle released as such. So what's the deal? I'd love to get a hard copy of this series to own, and I'm sure there are many others who would also buy it on DVD/Blu-ray. Amazon is missing out on an opportunity to make additional money off of this series.

I'm not sure of the business reasons, but this isn't the first.
There are a few other shows that are no longer coming out on disc (some that did for earlier seasons but no longer are), such as Agents of SHIELD.
Since Amazon is a streaming leader, one might suppose that they want to steer people away from hard media, but that hasn't kept Netflix or HBO from releasing their hottest shows on disc (Game of Thrones, House of Cards). Heck, HBO even released Vinyl on Blu-ray and that show crashed and burned.
Brevity is the soul of wit.
It seems like they're all getting away from that now. I think it's a shame because I like my shows on DVD.
