Should this be considered a movie from 2010 or 2011?

While it was originally a television show in Britain and its initial release was in Britain in 2010, it was released to the rest of the world in 2011. Does international release beat out national release in this case scenario, or should the original release take precedent over later later releases?

Yeah, it's my favorite comedy this year so far. It really hasn't gained the notoriety it deserves.

Is this is a movie that's been made by editing the TV series? Even if it is, I'd say it should be dated whenever this movie edit was created/released, as it would be a separate entity from the TV show.
