They cut the funniest impersonation

Having slammed this movie in the review, and not having seen the TV show, I looked up some of the material omitted from the film on youtube, only to find that they cut the funniest impersonation from the movie. This was of course Coogan's Stephen Hawking, which was hysterically funny after multiple viewings. Most of the other impersonations were at best only somewhat amusing, and usually just annoying. Three genuine belly laughs are almost enough to justify a film, whereas the two genuine laughs already present in the film only serve to remind you of how much filler there is around them. I now wonder what other comic gems (if any exist) were cut from the TV show.

That and the Liam Neeson impersonation. Otherwise, I disagree with you on the film. I thought it was hilarious.

The Ray Winston impression was also top-notch. Although the film was missing some gold I thought the movie did well keeping a lot of the good bits.

I think his Ken Bruce impression is the best.

Richard Gere.
