Zero chemistry between Stewart and Hemsworth

I am not sure if this was supposed to be the beginning of some sort of love story between the two, but either the actors or the characters (or both) had zero chemistry. Neither actor is good at showing emotions and putting them together was like watching two trees making a porno.

Chris did a fantastic job, but Kristen was wooden, I just didn't feel the chemistry between them either, but I don't think the problem really had anything to do with Chris' acting, Chris is a fabulous actor, and he's very good at showing emotion. He just didn't connect with Kristen sadly...

Kristen wasn't movie the set of the movie is dark and chris didn't smile even and he was wooden when people hate they hate without talking about others I thought the film was great and she did a fantastic work

reply

It could be me but she always pulls the same face like she's in pain or grossed out by something. Chris did a great job and i look forward to seeing him play this role again.

Did you watch clouds of sils maria on the road and panic room she was great she always seem like them in movies that require her not to smile

reply

LOL sorry I disagree, Kristen was very wooden and her acting was very monotone...I'm not a hater, I'm just saying it as it is. Chris' acting was much better.

reply

Iam not saying he is a bad actor he's great by I disagree that she was wooden since she can show emotion as any other actress watch clouds of sils maria and come back

reply

LOL whatever floats your boat honey, we're all just voicing our own opinions here, no one is right or wrong. If you think Kristan is such a "great" actress, then you are entitled to your opinion, but others will disagree. And you will just have to accept that fact.

I fault the script more so than the actors. For being the film's title characters, the interactions between the two of them are limited and shallow. They are never truly given time to connect with each other or a moment of authenticity to spark a relationship. The kissing scene was unnecessarily shoehorned in the film just because the Huntsman ended up being played by a younger actor. But I do think Chris Hemsworth did well with poorly written material.

There are few things as fetching as a bruised ego on a beautiful angel. 😇 

I agree a large part of the problem is the very sparse script.

I'd heard that originally there were more scenes shot between SW and the Huntsman together in the forest. This would have helped to develope their relationship, but was unfortuneatly edited out. Probably due to the length of the movie. As it was they mostly keep the scenes with just the 2 of them to the very basics, that was intrical to the story.

I completely agree, the script itself was rubbish and I think the actors did a good job with what they had to work with.

Exactly! The script didn't give the characters any real direction. Eric spends much of the film pining for his deceased wife and then William is dropped into the story as well, for what specific reason, other than to create an awkward triangle, I just don't know. Blame the script, rather than the actors.🐭

lol agreed there was hardly any romance between them, I'd rather it was Prince William who awakened Snow White
