Does a D+D movie need a dragon?
I think not
shareThen why call it Dungeons & DRAGONS? Call it Dungeons & Birds. No dragons needed then.
Logan: I don't know.
Rogue: You don't know, or you don't care?
Logan: Pick one. X-Men
what it really needs is a good script, a decent director and a good lead. wizards of the coast are just so damn greedy and thats why they allow to use their license to be torn apart by extremely bad adaptations.
shareIf you can get all of that, then that means you have a grade A movie on your hands, but to have such movie, you need a lot of money, and I don't really see them pumping any money in this franchise.

Actually, I do. But I just reread the question. I know why you would think that. I think I was high when I answered. Thanks for pointing it out.

yeah but we judge harshly since D&D games dont have a really good storyline but the books like Dragonlance do

NOPE not until its a really good script and really actors!
Like Signogary Weaver for Kitaria and Josh Hutcherson as Tassehoff or Flint Fireforge.
If it was done right! god!
Not that monstrosity they did in animation!
I loved Solace and Palanthas!
Theros could be like Don Cheadle or the guy who played Iron man the second time around

You have no clue about dnd, do you
Neither do the players since they think that you can have a character just disappear and never come back and when the movie comes out and the characters just appear that makes sense to them
Technically no, but there should be a good reason for not having dragons.
