Chastain would be miscast in this role

I read this book several years ago, and the real life Antonina looked much older than her actual age. Also, she was not a thin woman. Chastain seems too scrawny to play her.

Jeeeez 😕, so what that Antonina looked older but probably was in Chastain's age more or less. And she was not fat.

I have read that too but it seems that real Antonina was younger :) She was born in 1908 so that means she was only 31 when the WW2 began and 37 when the war ended.
Of course Jessica is much more pretty but I believe she has a lot of warm and kindest and that should be a clue for that part.
