Acting and Dialogue
Many people have already pointed out some of the problems with this film, but I havne't seen a discussion on the acting/dialogue yet. To me, that was the worst part of the film, yet I see in the reviews, some people are praising it.
Here's my take:
Most of the actors delivered their dialogues in a very wooden manner: Mr. Burton, the SWAT guy at the end, Handley.
The dialogue itself was abnormally banal. Take for example, the old woman talking to the bombmaker, the confession of cheating. You'll see all the lines are quite expected.
I seriously did not see any breakthrough here. At least the comic was a real actor so he actually acted, showed emotion, etc.
Appreciate hearing other's takes on it.
