DO NOT WATCH THIS TERRIBLE MOVIE
Biggest waste of time ever!Absolute crap!
shareI AGREE!.
shareI don't think it was that bad.
shareI didn't find this to be a really waste of time. Although, my few nitpicks do include - why did it have to be a Wall Street building? I suppose it would have more value story wise rather than it being an elevator in an affordable housing building and what's up with tossing the kid in for good measure? Were we supposed to feel more against the terrorist because a little child is involved? But, my biggest turn-off was the douche checking for everyone's id. Loved the girl's comment.
"Why me?...I mean, why me?"

I had some TV movies to record, cause they're awesome, and boy did I hit the jackpot with this one. I just love movies like this which are loki, you can put yourself in the situation and relate to (atleast one of the) characters

Who exactly did you relate to in this film?
I definitely did not care at all about the girl. They set us up to dislike her as this horrible little terror and then tried to make her sympathetic. I didn't find that credible. It WAS all her fault. Her character just didn't work for me at all.
i worship low-key.
shareare you freakin KIDDING me?!?! This movie was brilliant!! this movie was TIGHT!! This movie took a locked room formula and freakin rocked it to the max!!! It was the flipside, the twin to that other movie ''Devil'' but without any supernatural crap-all the horror, the tension was complete man made, completely believable- it took a locked room drama to it's awesome, gory inevitable finish. Few movies have ever dared to go this far, to explore the darkness of human nature so thoroughly- the only other movie I can think to rival this is ''Cannibal Holocaust''.....I can't believe you didn't at least APPRECIATE this movie....think ''Lord of the Flies'', trapped in an elevator- how can you not like that??!
shareI agree...pretty good movie.
shareVery entertaining response, and yes I totally agree with you. It's a great movie.
"NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition!!"
DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS POSTER.
It's actually a pretty good movie. Pretty intense and well done.
"NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition!!"
DO NOT LISTEN TO THE POSTER WHO SAID "DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS POSTER"
The movie is complete crap. The plot twists are predicable and the acting wooden. Go to the pub instead!
DO NOT LISTEN TO THE POSTER WHO SAID "DO NOT LISTEN TO THE POSTER WHO SAID 'DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS POSTER.'"
It's a great movie, and this poster is greatly exaggerating. It's not very predictable, and the actin, while it doesn't stand out, isn't bad at all.
I did think it was going this bad. Devil was better.
shareAgreed, this movie is so bad it's nearly unbelievable. So many things wrong with it, it's not even funny.
However my main problem with this "film" is that you end up hating almost all the characters in the elevator in very short order and from there you don't even care what happens to them (and thus don't care to watch the movie either). You just want the bomb to go off, kill everyone, and end this horrible pile of crap of a movie.
Aside from all of the characters being unlikeable it also relied upon the viewer having prior knowledge of there being a threat on the elevator. Shouldn't a movie have to work with the audience going in with a clean slate? As is it is just a bunch of people stuck on an elevator. Mighty boring and no real tension.
Perhaps if the woman's water broke as soon as they got stuck. Kind of a ticking clock right there.
