Running around with no helmets

It was so distracting in the whole Washington scene. And they DID have them early on. And I don't see them losing helmets. Looks like they just decided not to wear them. Into the freaking battlefield.
Not to mention soldiers would not allow them to run around and would simply give them their helmets.
I assume director wanted actors pretty faces to be shown and made them not wear helmets. Would never happen in real war with press. They always wear it.

Same thing with game of thrones. I can suspend my disbelief so I can see who is who.

They lost the helmets or they were appropriated by separatist soldiers who needed replacements.

There was no need to provide an explanation or establishment shot of the fate of the helmets or any other equipment when they're totally inconsequential to the story.

The film makers probably omitted the helmets so that the audience could tell the characters apart better during the chaotic final battle scenes.

I agree…this is just one more problem with this sloppy film.

I enjoyed it tbh. I liked that we didn’t really get a clue as to who to root for, there was not a clear bad faction. All of the idiots were blowing up towns and killing people.

I liked that it was told from the perspective of the PRESS. They are only there to record and report.

I liked that too. There weren't really any politics involved. It was simply capturing a moment in time. It had a LOT of problems, but I'm glad they chose that route.

I guess they just pay big actors so much money that they want to show them off. Most actors and actresses are much better looking than the rest of us normies.

Seriously, if they casted my sorry ass in a First Blood remake I would require hockey pads, chainmail armor and a stunt double in my contract😄
