Western forces?
“Citizens of America, the so-called Western forces of Texas and California have suffered a very great defeat at the hands of the United States military,” Offerman, who portrays the U.S. President, says in the trailer.
Shouldn't they be Southern forces? Or is the confederate states too much a cliche?
Does that mean the all states western to Texas have fallen? Or is that some sort of American culture reference I am not aware of?
Isn't Texas the lone star state, or has Tesla finally taken over Texas?
It does sound like an election year agenda driven movie. $75 million budget of the movie is the biggest ever for A24 studio, considering their last movie was a financial failure, so that is ... interesting. But that sort of money is kind of minuscule in terms of election spending. share
