Was Freddie really THAT gay?
In real life, it appears that Freddie always had female partners even in his later life. Always seemed he was bisexual and liked to fuck anyone, and that he may have suffered from sex addiction. An article with Express seems to quote him as saying he "made it a goal" to have sex after every show, regardless of gender. So sure, he liked dudes, but making him this tortured gay soul who just wants to break free of his heterosexual labeling sounds preposterous.
