The psychologist

First off yes, Danny is clearly troubled by his past and I too can understand his mistrust for many people including psychologists. I myself have been in and out of therapy for years since the age of 15. I’m now in my 40s.

I’ve learned the best way of getting good mental health help is to have a good connection with the doctor. If there isn’t a good connection then you just don’t feel safe to explore all your struggles and feelings. Danny does not seem to have a good connection with her what so ever. It’s clear they are meeting for the first time. It’s like she is interviewing him. She seems to actually beg him at times like a child “please tell me another story!”

I’m not insulting personally or anything. I am sure she is instructed some by the directors but it seems her technic doesn’t match well with his harsh personality.

No disrespect to any one who is a psychologist. You all have my full respect and by the way my daughter has a degree in it.
