LOVED IT

I admit, I had high expectations going into it but I loved it so much more than I thought I would. I love how real and natural it felt and especially the ending was beautiful. The entire film was incredible and I will definitely be adding it to my collection.

Yeah, even though the ending is somewhat bittersweet, the movie left me with a big smile on my face. I watched it for Sam Rockwell and he was great as always, but I really enjoyed this one all around.

I really liked it too. It took me right back to my childhood in the 80s, especially since I grew up in a seasonal beach town and was kind of an arcade and waterpark rat myself.

I loved it too, and I also had some high expectations of it, but at the same time I was also worried I might not like it. Thankfully, that was not the case. It really was fantastic. Great performances, and wonderfully sweet without being too saccharine.

I enjoyed it too... It reminded me of "Adventureland": the guy doesn't have much selfesteem and starts working there for the summer and meets a girl he really digs. I also recommend "Zombieland" and "The Perks of Being a Wallflower", which I really loved.

The Way Way Back certainly is an emotionally engaging piece. Though similar themes can be found in dozens of other films, there was enough characters and scenarios to become enchanted with.

I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.

I had mediocre expectations for this film and was really pleasantly surprised. It was a really good coming of age movie, we you end up rooting for the nice guy. Shame the mum didn't end the relationship, but you can't have it all in a film. Great movie!!
