What the hell is so damn amazing about the whole "Vampires in school" concept? I just think it's ridiculous to begin with and haven't we already had enough Twilights?
Or is this going to be somewhat BETTER?

I used to work at a book store, and read this book YEARS ago (2001 or 02 I think). This book came out way before Twilight, and isn't anything like it. I actually really enjoyed it.

If the movie stays true to the book than it will hardly be about vampires at all, in the book the word 'vampire' is only used once in a sarcastic remark. The cult-like group, which apparently the movie-synopsis calls vampires, is more like a group of witches. I hope they don't change the story too much, the book was good and very different from any fantasy novel I ever read, and really poetic.
