I posted this spoiler a month ago on here when the pics leaked from the set and showed up on tumblr. I'm really grossed out if that's the ending Lena is going with.
I'm not saying Hannah doesn't deserve to be happy, but she and Adam are toxic together (their sex scenes always made me uncomfortable, because Hannah always looked like she was forcing herself or felt pressured into doing the kind of kinky $hit he liked that made her feel icky, just to keep him), and she just went though a whole 'look at me, I'm growing!' learning experience about letting him go, etc. To have her end up with him again seems like a giant step backward. What was the whole point of her speech in the finale, then?
I'm not somebody who thinks a feminist ending means a character has to end up alone, but couldn't she end up with a guy (or girl - I actually loved her with Tally the best!) whom she felt more secure with - or who tempered her intense insecurity with the kind of adoration she clearly needs? He's only going to disappoint her.
Between Adam thinking she's a sociopath and Hannah needing constant validation, they seem like the worst combination of personalities to raise a kid together. Plus, she's way too selfish to be responsible for another human being. Let's hope she doesn't leave it on the side of the road when she gets bored, like she did with Ray.
I'm praying it's some kind of dream sequence or alt reality - like a sliding doors, road not taken sort of thing.
