However I get tired of seeing "white feminism" brought up in a pejorative way by men. Many men hate feminists because they hate the idea of being asked to question their male privilege. Replacing the term "feminists" with "white feminists" is an easy way for men to continue saying how they hate feminists and get (in their minds) a pass for it based on being "progressive". Men putting down feminists is not progressive. In any way. Not even when the feminists are white.

Actually, when it's the silly type of feminism, the regressive kind, then I'd say men putting down feminists can be progressive.

Many white middle and upper class feminists hate the term "white feminists" because they hate the idea of being asked to question their white middle or upper class privilege.
Is this a general, broad trolling question or do you have a specific issue having to do with Girls, in particular? I mean, Girls is certainly a show that kind of defines white feminism, so I can see why you're here, but it doesn't seem like you're asking anything specific. Did you show up to vent or bait people or are you trying to ask about an episode or character arc in particular?
