I know this was asked when the ep first aired, but I wasn't sure if Lena or anyone every gave an official answer...
At the end of episode 2, when Jessa is fooling around with that guy and starts bleeding: did she get her period (and thus was wrong about being pregnant) or was she having a miscarriage?
What I've got in my head you can't buy, steal, or borrow. I believe in live and let live.
She was excited because she got her period and thus wasn't pregnant.
shareYeah, I found this confusing too. If she just got her period... then it's possible she was just late and only thought she was pregnant.
But, she had booked an appointment for an abortion. So it stands to reason that she actually was pregnant (i.e. had confirmed it with a test of some sort). In which case, she was having a miscarriage. But, even this is not a realistic portrayal of miscarrying, as bleeding doesn't always mean a miscarriage.
It's all very confusing and I personally, didn't find anything in relation to this storyline to be realistic.
