I know many people like this show and all but come on people.
This Lena person and of course her character would never be able to date the guys she dates in the show.

This is the only kind of man who would be interested in someone who looks like that Lena person.

I have never seen an actress vilified the way Lena Dunham has been. For her looks.

It's ridiculous, and I really don't know why people (guys) feel compelled to post this same BS here over and over. So she's not the hottest girl on the show, doesn't have a conventionally hot body. You're watching a show called "Girls". They come in all shapes and sizes.

I've noticed that too! Vilified is a good word. Some of her outfits are pretty hideous, but it surprises me how *angry* some folks are that she dare show her imperfect body on TV.

Here's what Wilson himself had to say about that whole episode and the big deal made over it (it's near the end of the interview.) I've only seen the show one time, so I can't comment on the episode he was in (haven't seen it.) I think he's hot in a refreshingly non-Hollywood way, but I mean, c'mon---he's not like some unattainable supermodel-looking type of dude:

It's fiction so let's suspend belief a little. Listen looks aren't everything but the cherry on top is that Hannah is annoying to boot. If she was like this person who just oozed a certain attractive quality then I could see her being able to get men and women like she does but no she's unattractive in so many ways but I like the show too much otherwise to hold it too strongly against the show.

She can be extremely annoying. Although in season five she seems to have grown up a bit. It would be a good ending to the series to have the girls mature.
